DIY Comic Book Art Ballet Shoes.

I am totally going to go to target this week and buy a pair of cheap ballet flats ( I just can’t bring myself to do this to any of my current shoes). It’s super easy, you don’t have to be that crafty to make yourself of totally rockin’ comic book shoes. Or even just cutting out random pieces of the newspaper and having really cool black and white shoes.

Did anyone else use sheets as hammocks as a kid? I remember knotting a sheet to the monkey bars and hoping it would stay up…this method would definitely be an improvement!

Here’s another journal that I designed!!!

I started off with just a plain blue journal and I wanted to design it in a way that kind of represents me and this is what I ended up with.

Materials:

-Plain covered journal

-Pencil with eraser

-Sharpie

-Any kind of paint you prefer

-Paint Brush or those little foam thingys (lol sorry I forget what they’re called)

-Old magazine

-Glue stick

Steps:

1. Draw the design that you want onto the cover of the journal with a pecil so that if you make a mistake you can erase it.

2. When done drawing, go over it with a sharpie or some type of permanent marker.

3. Next, paint in your drawing with some type of paint. (I use fabric paint because it dries faster)

4. (Optional) Cut out letters from an old magazine to add words, your name, or whatever you want and glue with a glue stick onto the journal.

5. Your Done!!! (oh yea and i figured out that i spelt thought wrong and changed it after i posted this but didn’t feel like taking another pic and re-uploading lol)

detailed instructions on how to make this braided necklace. i actually wouldn’t really use it as a necklace because i think it’s too plain and it looks quite light (i like my jewellery heavy - in looks and in reality), but i can see it working as a headband or a bracelet.

alternatively, you can embellish the braid, spice it up a little bit with chains and beads so it acquires some weight and, also, interest.
